New Circulating School
In 2020, I was teaching English lessons in a normal classroom as a volunteer at a centre in London.
When the centre closed because of the Covid-19 lockdown, I started to teach my lessons on-line.
This was not my choice ! but I was surprised how some students liked it.
They could fit my lessons with their family and work responsibilities and others found it was easier to take part from home.
The New Circulating School is the name I have chosen for the classes I teach. It has a longer history … I will tell you more about it one day !
I really enjoy teaching English !
Every week I have to think how I teach a topic for my students… I try to see the language through their eyes.
It’s great when students make progress and we start to have longer conversations.
So the lessons are always interesting for me … and I hope for my students too !
